He's looking for the reasons why people come to this island, but then leave -- sometimes soon after.  

Was it a family emergency?  Lack of health care?  Missing the grandchildren and other family?  A poor experience living in Hawaii?  Maybe you just really weren't expecting so many coconut trees?

This brief survey consists of two pages following this one: 

(1) Questions to understand why you left.

(2) A page showing consumer ads, directed at a specific demographic of people who might be likely to leave, might need help selling their home, and being connected to a trusted realtor on the mainland.  Beside each ad are three options to register your impression of the message: 
Positive, Negative, or Neutral.
